What Does an ENT Specialist Do?
An ENT diagnoses and treats conditions affecting the ears, nose, throat, head, and neck. This includes everything from chronic ear infections and sinus issues to vocal cord problems and head & neck tumors. Dr. Muthukumar works closely with audiologists, speech therapists, radiologists, and other specialists to offer comprehensive care.

On any given day, ENT’s work may include:
Evaluating patients with hearing, voice, or balance issues
Treating sinus infections and nasal obstruction
Performing tonsillectomies and ear tube procedures for children
Managing complex head and neck cancers or thyroid disorders
Performing minimally invasive or advanced ENT surgeries
Educating patients and families about long-term ENT health
